Setup

Connect Google Calendar first

Google Meet requires Google Calendar integration

Go to Integrations

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Video

Enable Google Meet

Click “Enable Google Meet”

Enable for booking types

Select which appointment types should include Meet links

How it works

  1. Customer calls and wants to book an appointment
  2. AI confirms the appointment details
  3. CallDesk creates a Google Calendar event with Meet link
  4. Customer receives invite with the Meet link
  5. Both parties can join with one click

Google Workspace benefits

If you use Google Workspace:
  • Domain branding - Meet links use your company domain
  • Extended meeting times - Longer meetings for paid accounts
  • Recording - Available on Business Standard and higher
  • Breakout rooms - Available on Business Plus and higher

Not every appointment needs video. Configure which bookings get Meet links:
  • All appointments - Every booking gets a Meet link
  • Specific types - Only consultations, not service calls
  • On request - AI asks if customer wants video option

Requirements

  • Google Calendar connected to CallDesk
  • Google account (personal or Workspace)
  • No additional cost from CallDesk

Troubleshooting

You must connect Google Calendar first. Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar.
