Setup

Go to Integrations

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Messaging

Select Slack

Click “Connect Slack”

Authorize access

Sign in to your Slack workspace and grant permissions

Choose channels

Select which channels receive notifications

Configure notifications

Choose which events trigger notifications

Notification types

Choose which events send Slack notifications:

Channel routing

Send different notifications to different channels:
  • #sales - New leads and qualified prospects
  • #support - Customer service calls
  • #appointments - All booking confirmations
  • #urgent - Emergency calls only

Rich notifications

Slack messages include:
  • Caller info: Name, phone, company
  • Call summary: What was discussed
  • Quick actions: Call back, view transcript, assign
  • Transcript link: One-click to full details

Team mentions

Configure @mentions for urgent situations:
  • @channel for emergency calls
  • @person when specific team member needed
  • @here for time-sensitive notifications

Requirements

  • Slack workspace
  • Permission to add apps
  • No additional cost from CallDesk

Troubleshooting

Check that the channel is selected and notifications are enabled for that event type.
Update channel routing in Settings → Integrations → Slack → Channels.
You need permission to add apps. Contact your Slack admin.
