Setup

Go to Integrations

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Messaging

Select Telegram

Click “Connect Telegram”

Start the bot

Click the link to open Telegram and start the CallDesk bot

Get your chat ID

Send /start to receive your chat ID

Configure notifications

Choose which events trigger notifications

Notification types

Choose which events send Telegram notifications:

Group notifications

Share notifications with your team:
  1. Add the CallDesk bot to a Telegram group
  2. Use the group’s chat ID in CallDesk
  3. All group members receive notifications

Quick actions

Telegram notifications include clickable actions:
  • View transcript - Open full call details
  • Call back - Quick link to return the call
  • View in CallDesk - Jump to the dashboard

Requirements

  • Telegram account
  • Telegram app (mobile or desktop)
  • No additional cost from CallDesk

Troubleshooting

Make sure you started the bot with /start and notifications are enabled.
Verify the chat ID in Settings → Integrations → Telegram.
Try removing and re-adding the bot. Send /start again to reconnect.
